Ecdysis: Berlin Decollage by Zahra Luengo
ECDYSIS – The process of shedding the old skin (in reptiles) or casting off the outer cuticle (in insects and other arthropods).
The term ‘ecdysis’ comes from Ancient Greek: ἐκδύω (ekduo), “to take off, strip off”.
Ekdysiast – a striptease performer.
This is a documented story of “Ecdysis” an exhibition by Zahra Luengo at Kleiner Salon (Berlin) between 8 – 22nd of July, 2017.
